Exercising more, reading more, listening to podcasts, etc. Personal growth and development are two topics that should always be at the front of your mind if you truly want to become something larger than yourself.

❕EXHAUSTED ❕
When your day ends do you feel exhausted? Is it the type of exhaustion that you are stressed out? Is it the type of exhaustion that you have accomplished so much that you feel good about the work you put in?
There is a difference when it comes to the way you feel after a longer day at work, a workout, or anything that you are challenging yourself. If you are constantly feeling exhausted from stress you should be searching for ways to cope with the negativity that is stressing you out. Do you need to reflect on what you can change? Do you need to find a way to take your mind off of what is stressing you out?
I know for myself, I need to workout and take my mind off of things that have my mind racing and stressing. Taking this time to yourself will not only help your mental health, but it will help you process what is causing you to feel stressed out and how you are able to cope with it better.

‼️UPDATE‼️
In mid November I got extremely sick and was taken to the urgent care where they weren’t too sure what was going on with me. They found out that I was negative for the flu/COVID. However, they drew blood and found out that my white blood cell count was extremely high. From there they said I needed to be taken to the emergency room. Not knowing what was happening to me and why I was feel the way I did was extremely frightening and frustrating. Upon mass amounts of tests and blood work they found out that I had contracted a staph infection that had turned me septic. I was hospitalized for a week and a half with a mass amount of antibiotics and continuous blood work to make sure I was getting better. Now that it has been a couple months, I figured I would provide this update to you all. I can’t thank my family, friends, the medical teams, and most importantly my wife for all their help through this process.
I am extremely happy to announce that I am now off of my PICC line (intravenous medicine) and am down to just an oral antibiotic and a suppressant. Now I know that the road still has some things that need to be addressed, but for the time being I am able to get back to “normal” and start to work back on becoming the best version of myself.
I want everyone to know that no matter what your setback is, that you are not alone. There are people out there dealing with issues daily and if you ever need someone to talk to that all you have to do is reach out. There are tons of people who are willing to listen. Keep your head up and keep working towards your goals!

I know I have been gone for awhile here. I want you to know that it has not been on purpose. I have been extremely busy working on making programs tailored to different fitness goals and perfecting my craft.

There are many myths within the fitness industry. Here are 3 myths that stand out the most to me and that you MUST know about!
Spot reducing fat: There is no such thing as spot reducing fat loss. When you are trying to lose weight you do not get to decide where the fat comes off first or last!
Out working a bad diet: If your nutrition is off you are setting yourself up for failure. Not to say you can’t enjoy a night out or that piece of cake, just don’t over indulge!
Toning muscle: This is simply wanting to lose body fat. The same concept applies here as to the spot reducing fat myth. Your body will “tone” where it needs to first. You have to just trust the process!
