This Saturday, April 18 come on down to Powderhorn Earth Day Cleanup from 9:30 am to 12 pm. We’d love for you, friends and family to join the fun! We are proud to be part of a massive city-wide effort featuring 35 different sites and over 2,000 volunteers, making this the largest and most impactful volunteer event in Minneapolis. We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and energy our neighbors bring to this event every year to keep our community green and vibrant. Let’s get together, enjoy the fresh air, and make the park shine!

Earth Day Cleanup - Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board This year’s cleanup takes place throughout the City of Minneapolis and is a collaboration between the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) and City of Minneapolis Solid Waste and Recycling.

MPRB Online Recreation Services

The 2025-26 MPRB basketball season is winding down and we wanted to take a moment to thank all of the volunteer coaches who come out each season to coach and mentor our Powderhorn youth. Powderhorn Park had 2 6U teams, 3 8U teams, 2 11U teams and 1 12U team. It's always a great feeling to see so many youth involved in positive activities in our community, and we simply cannot do it without our coaches. Thank you again for another great season!
