Slow Saturday for us today. And it really feels nice. Although it’s winter, I feel like we’ve still been very busy. But today, we got banana bread in the oven and my 7-year-old making a menu for her restaurant.
Peep the “boyulled” egg. 😂 This is the first time she’s worked in Canva and she’s so happy with herself and proud of her menu.
It’s been fun showing her something that I enjoy doing that’s sparks my creativity. Maybe this will ignite something in her also.
Love these parenting moments ❤️

May our children not drive us up the wall and our family not judge us too harsh today 🤞

It's okay to say no and to decline an invitation.

I love walking and recently got into Pilates! What are you doing to move your body every day?

I would be headed to Asia!

Don't let time slip away when you could be doing something better with it. Don't get me wrong, most nights are spent scrolling Tik Tok, watching other people live their lives. Or indulging in the next top 10 Netflix show. By the end of the day as moms we are exhausted and quite honestly just don't have the energy to put into anything else. But we need to remember that we're in control of where we go in life and how far we want to push ourselves. So if your evenings are the only time you get to yourself, make sure to spend some time investing in YOU. Invest in your happiness. Invest in your dreams.

Why do children wake up early on their own on the weekends but never a school day!?🫠

Don't ever forget, you're never too old to try something new. Learn to dance, learn to play an instrument, learn a new hobby. Do it because you enjoy it and don't think you need to even be good at it. If it brings you joy, it's worth it. Life slips away so quickly. Don't waste a second thinking you can't do something because you damn well can do anything you want Mama! 😜😎

We worry so much about not being good enough for our children and not giving them everything we want to but really being a "present mom" is what they really need.
