Thank you Mayor Jacob Frey for the visit to Champions! It was great seeing you and having the opportunity to share the gym and our community with you and your team. We are excited for the future of Champions Boxing Gym and the plans we have. We are Minneapolis proud and Southide Strong, stay tuned!

What an incredible day at the MayDay parade! Our hearts are absolutely full seeing the massive turnout and the energy everyone brought to the streets.
This wasn’t just a success because of the numbers; it was a win for the entire community. Seeing our volunteers, athletes, and coaches walking together to represent Champions Boxing Gym reminded us why we do what we do. We are beyond overwhelmed and impressed by the strength of the community we’ve built both inside and outside the gym walls.
A huge thank you to every single volunteer who dedicated their time, held a banner, and walked with us. You made this happen!

Champions boxing gym killed it at the Mayday parade! Saying it was a blast doesn't even cover it, we had a fantastic time. Huge turnout and perfect weather. Shoutout to all the volunteers who walked with us and showed off the gym's spirit. Grateful for the support and can't wait to do it all again next year.

Today, April 1st marks the five-year anniversary of Ludy's Gym Champions Only's grand opening, Ludy and I put together from idea to opening the doors within a time span of 4 weeks, it has been a journey to say the least. But since, we have transitioned to Champions Boxing Gym due to a unforeseen restructure. Despite various obstacles, we have upheld our core principles and fostered a strong sense of community. From modest beginnings with a handful of members and training sessions led by Ludy Webster and Jeremy Jacobsz, the gym has flourished into a thriving facility boasting nearly 100 members, 13 weekly classes, and a team of 13 skilled coaches. I would like to express my deepest appreciation to everyone who has played a role in our journey, whether through spreading the word, joining as a member, participating in classes, or simply offering words of encouragement. Your contributions have been pivotal in defining our identity. Here's to continued growth, prosperity, and excellence in the years to come.
