So... Target Field concession workers plan to go on strike next weekend (June 22), when the Los Angeles Dodgers come to town.
Their workers union is accusing MN Twins contracted concessions vendor 'Delaware North Co." of refusing to negotiate in good faith over possible healthcare coverage and pay raises for their mostly minimum wage workforce.
Delaware North told FOX 9 via statement that fans should expect little to no changes in game day operations next weekend.
The Twins have relayed to union reps that this is an issue between Delaware North and their employees, which the union vehemently disagrees with.

Nolan Teasley isn't wasting any time reshaping the Vikings front office...
Days after firing three high-ranking executives, the Vikings are hiring Andrew Healy and Trent Kirchner as assistant GMs, with current AGM Ryan Grigson reportedly set for a different role, per Alec Lewis.
Healy spent the last decade with the Browns, and Kirchner won two Super Bowls in Seattle alongside Teasley. Kirchner is a Fulda, Minnesota native and former St. John's quarterback.

"I would certainly say, if I had to guess, I would guess it is Kyler Murray... you have seen JJ McCarthy, and he does look good mechanically right now, I'll say that. To my semi-trained eye he looks a little bit tighter. But JJ was pretty good in clean pockets last year... If I had to lean right now, it's Kyler."
Tom Pelissero's prediction is Kyler Murray wins the Minnesota Vikings starting QB job...
He also said on the Rich Eisen Show that the coaches probably already have a pretty good idea as to who ends up winning the battle and that the first preseason game will be a tell.

James Outman has been claimed off waivers, but he isn't leaving the AL Central...
The Detroit Tigers have claimed Outman, six days after the Twins designated him for assignment. He was the only return in the Brock Stewart trade last year, and lost his roster spot to Royce Lewis, who is 6 for his first 16 with a 444-foot homer since the call-up.
Good luck in Detroit, James... just not against the Twins.

Unless something changes with Giannis Antetokounmpo’s preference, the dream of bringing him to Minnesota is looking pretty close to dead for now...
In a piece on the latest reporting around Giannis wanting to stay in the East from the Stein Line, Kurt Helin of NBC Sports writes:
“Teams in the West that might be a fit (like Minnesota) have not come hard because Antetokounmpo wants to stay in the East.”

Kevin O'Connell discussed the Kyler Murray quote about the difficulty of trying to learn a new system while splitting QB reps and said they won't name a starter until they have some time to evaluate in training camp...
“I think to give an actual date would be not necessarily accurate from a portrayal as how we see it. There is a timeline to make sure that we can allow the competition to continue and advance, and layout in training camp to allow us to do that.”

The Minnesota Twins go down hard in the series finale in Detroit, getting shut out in an 11-0 rout to drop two of three against the Tigers. Zebby Matthews got smacked around in the middle innings as his record falls to 2-4, and the offense couldn't generate much of anything off Keider Montero or the Tigers bullpen.
Lewis: 2/4
Caratini: 1/2
Larnach: 1/4
Matthews: 6.0 IP, 9 H, 7 ER
Record: 31-39
