Please join us in welcoming the newest member of the CRA leadership team!

We are excited to announce that Candace Corso has been appointed as the CRA's official Website Lead.

Over the past several months, Candace has played a key role in leading the Website Committee through the planning, development, and launch of our new website. In this new role, she will continue working closely with our internal teams and our web development partner, Final Web Design, to oversee the day-to-day management, updates, and ongoing improvement of the CRA website.

The website serves as one of the primary ways we communicate with our members, racers, workers, sponsors, and fans, and Candace's dedication and hard work have already made a tremendous impact.

If you see Candace around the paddock this weekend, be sure to congratulate her on her new role!

Have questions, suggestions, or feedback regarding the website? We'd love to hear from you. Please reach out to Candace and the Website Committee at [email protected].

We've received additional clarification from BIR regarding Thursday entry times for upcoming events.

As we've previously shared, the later access times are due to other groups utilizing BIR facilities before our event weekend, with their contracts ending at 6:00 PM.

The good news is that BIR has worked with us to allow CRA participants access to the facility beginning at 5:00 PM. However, please note that access to certain paddock areas will still be restricted until 6:30 PM.

Please review the attached map for details on which areas will be accessible at 5:00 PM and which areas will open at 6:30 PM.

We ask that everyone please respect the space of the groups currently utilizing the facility and refrain from entering restricted paddock areas until they officially open at the scheduled times.

We appreciate BIR's willingness to work with us and thank everyone for their patience and cooperation.

If you're one of those early birds who arrives Thursday evening or a night owl who sticks around through teardown on Sunday, we could use a few extra hands!

Our Registration and Timing & Scoring teams are looking for volunteers to help with setup on Thursday and teardown on Sunday. The work is straightforward. Mostly helping move equipment, boxes, supplies, along with some basic setup. Some items can be a bit bulky, so the biggest requirement is a willingness to lend a hand.

Whether you can help with setup, teardown, or both, your assistance makes a big difference and helps our volunteers focus on getting everything ready for a successful race weekend.

Interested? Contact [email protected] for more information.

As a thank-you, volunteers will receive weekend benefits, including complimentary event entry.

Remember that many hands make light work. We'd love to have your help!

As we prepare for this weekend's event, we'd like to share some important arrival information for those planning to arrive at BIR on Thursday evening.

The entrance gates will open at -+ 6:30 +- PM on Thursday for all participants. Due to agreements and contractual obligations BIR has with other renters who occupy the grounds before our event weekend begins, we are unable to provide access to the facility prior to that time. This applies equally to racers, workers, vendors, officials, and all other attendees.

We appreciate everyone's understanding as we work within the requirements established by these agreements.

Additionally, if you plan to pit near our vendors, please allow a little extra room while they unload equipment and set up their tents and displays. Their support helps make our race weekends possible, and your cooperation during setup is greatly appreciated.

Thank you, safe travels, and we look forward to seeing everyone at the track this weekend!

We've all heard the phrase, "Many hands make light work." The idea is simple: when more people pitch in, the workload becomes easier for everyone.

Over the past few years, the CRA has regularly posted requests for volunteers in newsletters and on social media. While we've received some interest, we've also heard valuable feedback from members who want to help but are unable to commit time during race weekends. Others have told us that some volunteer opportunities felt like too large of a commitment.

We hear you.

While race weekend volunteers will always be essential to our events, many important tasks take place throughout the year and can often be completed on your own schedule. Areas where we currently need assistance include:

* Trophy administration - hour or two a month during season, more at end of the season
* Membership support - hour or two a month during season, more at start of the season
* Small website updates - hour or two a month
* Administrative and organizational projects - varies
* Special projects based on your skills and experience

Many of these opportunities require only a small time commitment but make a significant difference in helping the club operate smoothly.

As a thank you for your assistance, eligible volunteers may earn race weekend benefits such as complimentary entry, worker bonus points, and other club incentives.

Do you have a few hours to spare each month? Do you have professional skills, technical expertise, organizational talents, or simply a desire to help? We'd love to hear from you.

If you're interested in getting involved, please reach out at [email protected] and let us know:

* What skills or experience you have
* How much time you may be able to contribute
* What types of projects interest you

Every contribution - large or small - helps strengthen the CRA and supports the members who make our racing community possible.
