The North American PowerHockey Association is a cooperative effort between the U.S. EWHA and CEWHA w It planted the seed for a joint venture between the U.S.
The 2001 PowerHockey World Cup, an open tournament which consisted of 11 teams from six countries, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota marked a watershed moment for the sport in North America. EWHA and CEWHA resulting in the North American PowerHockey Association (NAPHA), and the PowerHockey Cup, a tournament that has been held every two years (beginning in 2004) to determine the best PowerHockey team
