33 weeks🤰🏽

-We finally got a King bed after almost 9 years of sleeping in a Full bed together. Now, I have to wait 2 days for this thing to expand before sleeping on it. I'm too big to wait...😭

-This is how sexy my selfies are now. Yup, this is it folks!! Wouldn't be complete without my husbands boxer briefs that help with my major thigh chaffing constant sweating 😓

-I smell weird. No deodorant can help me. It's a very specific smell and well, I won't go into anymore details😂

-My tailbone is majorly sore so I sit on a pillow all day working.

-I had a "panic day" yesterday where I walked into the nursery and thought "holy sh*t our lives are about to change foooorever and I have to birth a baby via my va**na soon!" To which I began to cry and say to Dan "I'm so nervous. I'm so scared." To which he replied "you'll handle it like a champ. Collins is strong and she will help you out!"

-We've started packing our hospital bag...well, at least the one for snacks!

-I'm still smiling because third trimester, although it's had it's challenges, has been my favorite thus far!

-I'm so excited to meet miss Collins and can't believe I'm almost to the finish line...did this go by fast or slow? I can't decide.

These are my thoughts and feelings currently. It's hard to put together anything eloquent or concise these days, but just know I'm here, we're all healthy, Dan is the greatest, Louie doesn't know what's about to hit him and we are taking this new week in stride! Is that the saying? Not even going to look it up to see if it is🤪 @ North Loop

Being pregnant alongside women you love and respect is such an amazing experience. Bonding over pregnancy, birth, and motherhood at golden hour with other mamas is so magical. Finding strength in movement and connection with other creators of life makes for an amazing night in 2020🤍

When brought us together for an Ella Frances Yoga photo shoot with I didn't know what to expect as I've done photo shoots before, but this one was different. It was so meaningful and beautiful. I had my baby girl Collins in my belly as other women poured their pregnancy and birth positivity over me, and felt like my community was transitioning as my life has.

Ella is hosting a Mama Mastermind called "Blossom" October 21-December 2nd (Collins' due date!) for expecting mamas and also mamas in their first year of their child's life. 31 weeks🤰🏽

I've been lucky to be surrounded by so many beautiful and inspiring mamas, and recently had the pleasure of shooting with for Ella Frances Yoga ✨Ella leads and empowers others to move their bodies and believe in themselves through life, pregnancy, birth and motherhood through the power of yoga. How amazing is that life purpose!?

One of the biggest lessons I've learned on my journey is that I need like-minded women around me who will lift me up and give me hope when it gets hard, and who will also revel in the magic with me when it's oooooh so good! Community is everything to me, and now it's overflowing into motherhood before baby girl is even earth side!

I never dreamt of being a mom. I never babysat and loooved children. I never had "kids" as a goal in life. But, when I met my husband I knew I wanted a family to call our own. I am learning more than I could have ever imagined and know it doesn't stop here.
What I also know is, with the right humans around me, I will be okay. In fact, I will be more than okay, and I will thrive as a MOM. A title I never thought I would have🤍

Friday feels🤍

I cannot wait to spend the weekend with my mom, sister, niece, and this amazing man I get to call my husband.

Relationships are everything to me. With our world in such a crazy state of unrest, we have to cling to love and joy, and bring them to the forefront as much as we can🤍
