She practiced law for 26 years, taught for the paralegal program at North Hennepin Community College, held the position of Dean of Business and Career Programs at North Hennepin, and served as an elected official for 12 years. In 2015, she took her career in a totally new direction and began working in government administration, a position that utilizes all of her varied professional experiences managing people, problems and programs.
