In times of division, hate, antisemitism and racism I think this picture worth 1000 words. Today Minnesota United FC won their first game since the return of Major League Soccer against Sporting Kansas City.

On this date 43 years ago, Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball wins its FIRST European Championship!

The 1976–77 FIBA European Champions Cup was the 20th edition of the European top-tier level professional basketball club competition FIBA European Champions Cup (now called EuroLeague). The Final was held at the Pionir Hall, in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, on April 7, 1977. Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv defeated Mobilgirgi Varese (Italy), by a result of 78–77.

Since 1977 MTA won the European championship 5 more times (1981, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2014) and made it to the final 9 more times, making it the 3rd strongest basketball club in Europe following Real Madrid from Spain and CSKA Moscow from Russia.
