Niko and me, the instructors who kept the Salsa Dance Club alive at the U of M for nearly two decades and taught over a thousand students the joy of salsa dancing, built a community, promoted a culture, and fostered intercultural friendships and understanding!

Hello everyone,

Sorry for any delays in announcements, many things needed to get taken care of, and we had trouble acquiring the rooms we needed for classes to run this Semester.

But here is this semester's class schedule, starting next week!

We are offering Salsa Classes on Wednesday Peik Gym G65 with a different schedule structure as before. It is as follows:
6pm Foundations Salsa
7pm Intermediate Foundations
Practice hour and exploration after. Social dancing option at Conga Latin Bistro.

We are also offering Brazilian Zouk Classes on Tuesdays Peik Gym G55 as follows:
7pm Foundations for Brazilian Zouk
8pm Intermediate Topics

Much of the requirements have been lifted, and we are open to any/all attendees. Please note that you can still choose to wear a mask during classes, if you want to.

Pricing will still follow as last year - $35 membership for U of M students/faculty and $15/class for non-students with a discounted 4-pack at $50

Hello everyone,

As you may know, this club requires 5 enrolled student officers (undergrad or grad) representing in order to stay registered and reserve space from the University for classes.

It has come to our attention that we do not meet the requirements for the club to continue this year and therefore, classes will not be available until it has been met.

If anyone wants to take on a placeholder spot for a student officer, please let us know and we can accelerate the process.
