Today we had the honor of celebrating NAAPID at Saint Paul Public Schools SPPS Crossroads Elementary School! We shared the powerful history of RONDO, once a thriving Black community—and talked about how back in the day, kids were outside jumping Double Dutch for fun! Then we brought that history to life. We showed the students how to jump Double Dutch, got the entire school moving, and even had students and community members in the crowd learning and jumping with us‼️

This past Monday we celebrated the end of our Double Dutch after-school program at 825 Arts! — and let me tell you, these kids GOT IT! 🔥
The JK Movement Project youth and students from Saint Paul Public Schools SPPS Maxfield Elementary learned how to jump Double Dutch from start to finish, and now they are officially RONDO DOUBLE DUTCH CERTIFIED! 🔥
I’m so proud of them. Watching their confidence grow, seeing them cheer each other on, and watching that joy hit their faces when they finally got in that rope… priceless.
