We have a full Olympic caliber diving facility, with bubbles, and water belts. We also offer a dryland training center on site. With 3 trampolines, 4 dry diving boards, 2 foam pits and mats galore!

Ever struggled to know what those numbers the announcers are saying before the athletes do thier dives? Here’s a helpful little guide!

Recreational Groups have a new structure, a 12 week lesson plan to help athletes prepare for recreational diving like High school or Middle school teams!!!

Spring Registration is now open! We’ve updated our class for the 13 and Under age groups. Incorporating use of our dryland training gym to every practice!!! This will help the athletes build more confidence in their skills before transferring them to the pool.

MINNESOTA DIVING ACADEMY

Summer Season program information and practice schedules are available on our website. This summer we have:

1. Elite and JO Select Teams.
For the dedicated divers looking to improve their 1m, 3m and Platform Diving skills. These are also the divers who are hoping to go on to dive in college. On-deck dryland, special conditioning programs and access to the incredible University of Minnesota Jean Freeman Aquatic Center.

2. College Program.
For current college divers who are home for the summer, and for those who are going to dive in college this fall. Chance to work with other college divers to better prepare yourself for the 2016-17 NCAA/NAIA season.

3. High School Enrichment.
For high school-aged divers who are focused on improving only their 1-meter diving and becoming more competitive during their upcoming high school seasons. Great place to learn the elusive Reverse Dive!!!

4. Learn-to-Dive Lessons.
For divers of all ages who are brand new to diving. Using proven, positive teaching techniques including basic skill progressions that promote body balance, spatial awareness and body alignment, instructors help divers learn successfully and safely.

Hey everyone,
I think most of you know Sydney, one of our divers from Eden Prairie. Please pray for her! Sydney went into cardiac arrest two mornings ago while having her wisdom teeth removed. She is at Amplatz Children's Hospital at the U of MN. She has not awakened as of yet. Please pray for her and her family!

Well another Summer Region 5 JO meet is in the books. And for the record, MDA had an awesome showing. 8 divers qualified in 14 events for the Zone meet in July. And to put a final MDA stamp on the meet, Abigail bested her PR by 20 points to take 3rd in 14-15 Girls Platform. (Thanks Dan, Kris and Manny!). Congrats to all MDA divers on a job well done!!!

MDA had an amazing outing at Region 5 JO Championships in Brown Deer, WI. Qualifying for Zones were:
Vova in 14-15 Boys 1m AND 3m.
Olivia and Abigail in 14-15 Girls 1m and 3m.
Taylor, Brandon, Alex and Andy in 16-18 Boys 1m.
Alex and Andy in 16-18 Boys 3m (Taylor and Brandon were injured and did not dive.)
Liz in 16-18 Girls 1m and will most likely also qualify on 3m, as well.
Everyone dived their personal bests, including Meghan, Jackie and Beth. Just Outstanding!!! I'm so proud to be able to coach each of you!

Congratulations to our own Mikey Ross on his dream come true! Mikey is off to Las Vegas to join the cast of Cirque du Soleil's "O" at the fabulous Bellagio! Way to go, Mikey!!!! Make MDA proud!!!

Congrats to Taylor Hall! 2nd place, 444.25 in 16-18 Boys 1M at Region 5 Meet in Evanston, IL. Now he's off to West Nationals in Riverside, CA!!! Way to go Brandon Pearson! 12th place medal on 1M in Regions!!! MDA kills!!!
