Webber pool is the first public pool in North America that does not use chemicals to keep its water clean.
The Webber pool is the first public pool in North America that does not use chemicals to keep its water clean. Instead, water is pumped from the pool through a system of biological filters and into an adjacent regeneration basin. Effective today, August 21, Webber NSP's smaller upper pool is closed. The larger, lower pool remains open.
Webber NSP's LOWER pool will re-open today at 1pm.

7/22/25: Both the upper and lower pools of the Webber Natural Swimming Pool are now open.
Effective today - Thursday, July 17 - the upper (shallow) pool at Webber Natural Swimming Pool (NSP) is temporarily closed due Pseudomonas bacteria levels exceeding MPRB standard for NSPs in the facility's upper pool.
The lower (deeper) pool remains open to the public.
Good news! The Webber Natural Swimming Pool will reopen today with regular hours of 1-7 pm.

August 29: Both of the Webber Natural Swimming Pools are open through the end of the aquatic season on 9/2. Remember that as of 8/19, all MPRB aquatic facilities are open reduced hours: T-F 4-7 pm, weekends 1-7pm, Labor Day 1-7 pm.
