Some places are more than just beautiful — they become a feeling. 🤍

Centennial Lakes Park in Edina is one of those places for me.

Summer evenings by the water, slow walks, paddle boats, mini golf, little celebrations, Thursday Farmers Market, cozy cafés nearby… and that peaceful feeling of simply being exactly where you want to be.

Beautiful in every season, but summer here has its own kind of magic. ☀️

And I’m definitely not ready for the cold again…

This beautiful summer is already over, but some places make you want to hold onto it just a little longer. 🤍

Centennial Lakes Park — always one of my favorite places to come back to.

Full-time jobs. Four active kids + one active baby. Endless practices. Summer break… they said. 😅

Так виглядає життя активних батьків, які виховують активних дітей. ❤️

Birch Lake gave us everything we needed — peaceful waters, family time, canoe and kayak adventures, fishing stories, laughter, and a chance to slow down and enjoy what truly matters. These are the moments that make summer unforgettable. 🌲🛶🎣☀️💙

Three days in Northern Minnesota that we will remember for a long time.

In just three days, we explored so many incredible places:

📍 Black Beach
📍 Agate Beach
📍 Pebble Beach
📍 Gooseberry Falls
📍 Palisade Head
📍 Shovel Point
📍 Split Rock Lighthouse
📍 a cozy cabin on a beautiful lake in Babbitt

And along the way, we enjoyed:

🛶 canoe adventures
🚣 kayaking on peaceful waters
🎣 northern pike fishing
🌅 breathtaking sunsets over the lake
🌲 endless pine forests and stunning Lake Superior views
❤️ and, most importantly, quality time together

Sometimes the best memories are made far away from busy cities. Where children spend all day outdoors, collecting rocks on the beach, exploring new places, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Where mornings begin with coffee overlooking the lake, and evenings end with conversations by the water and the sounds of the forest.

Three days. Hundreds of miles on the road. Three beautiful beaches. Waterfalls, cliffs, a lighthouse, canoes, kayaks, northern pike fishing, and countless moments we wish we could relive again and again.

This is exactly what summer is meant to be. 💙

“It’s Already in Them” was a workshop dedicated to supporting refugee and newcomer students through trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and relationship-centered approaches in education.

During the session, we talked about the emotional realities many refugee children carry into classrooms, the hidden strengths behind their stories, and practical strategies educators can use to help students feel safe, seen, and capable of success.

The workshop combined real-life experiences, professional insight, and community-based perspectives from working directly with Ukrainian newcomer families through the Ukrainian American Community Center.

At the heart of the presentation was one simple message: sometimes students do not need to be “fixed” — they need adults who help them rediscover the strength that is already within them. 💛

A little magic, a little joy — and so many happy smiles ahead 💛

As part of the Family Education Support program, we have already prepared special Easter Bunny baskets —
and they are getting ready to find their little owners very soon 🎁✨

These baskets are waiting to be delivered — filled with care, warmth, and holiday spirit 💫
