**Vamos, Loons. La lucha continúa.**

A night of effort without reward at Allianz Field.
The Loons fell **2–1 to Atlanta United**, but the scoreline didn’t tell the real story. Minnesota played with energy, intensity, and a work rate that deserved more. They created chance after chance -breaking lines, pressing high, and pushing Atlanta for 90 minutes- but couldn’t convert the moments that mattered.
On the club’s **10‑year celebration at Allianz Field**, the atmosphere was electric. Alumni in the building, supporters loud as ever, and a stadium that remains one of the best places in MLS to watch a match. The fútbol was there. The finishing wasn’t.
Post‑match, Coach Knowles kept it honest: the team created plenty, fought hard, but must execute. Markanich echoed the frustration: *“We’re way better than this… we need more belief and more fight for 90 minutes.”* Wil Trapp added that ex*****on — not effort — is what will push the team forward.
**Player shoutouts:**
🔥 Markanich — the lone goal and relentless energy
🧤 Drake — sharp, composed, and kept the Loons alive
⚙️ Midfield — worked tirelessly to break lines
San Jose is next. The work rate is there. The chemistry is building. Now it’s about turning chances into goals.
**Vamos, Loons. La lucha sigue.**
