We made the tough decision to cancel the Ice Cream Social for tonight due to a few factors. First, the weather is not helping. There is potential for rain today and tonight, plus it will be a cool day/night. Secondly, our vendors needed 24 hours notice for a cancellation, otherwise the park gets charged for the inflatables and games. Lastly, the fields are still a little wet after all this rain and we do not want to ruin our fields with heavy equipment out there.

The good news, you can join us at Morris Park on Thursday, July 18th from 5:30-8pm for a free Ice Cream Social. More information and a flyer will be sent out shortly.

Job Opening at Keewaydin Park for someone 18+!

Role Summary:
Provide safe, dependable childcare for school age children (ages 5-12 years) at assigned Rec Plus sites. Ensure the
environment and recreation-based curriculum provides learning experiences to meet each participant’s needs.

Compensation: $16.50-$19.00/per hour depending on education and experience.

Hours:
M-TH, 12-20 hours/week typical shifts are 3:00pm-6:00pm during school year. Hours vary for summer. This position is eligible for sick and safe leave in accordance with the Minneapolis Sick and Safe Time Ordinance. This position is not eligible for other benefits.

Keewaydin Park is looking for a few more 15U girls soccer players. Practices have not started but the first games are Saturday, September 9th. Please register soon if you are interested!
