Looking for a new workout? I'm teaching a new strength class called Dance Barre. It's a mix of barre, pilates, and traditional strength exercises all choreographed to music! Everything is more fun when you're dancing! :)

New dance for you!

Let's have a little fun while strengthening your lower body! This workout is designed to be done with or without a resistance band. The band definitely increases the intensity!! If you are using a resistance band, when you step to the side, make sure you are moving your whole leg as a unit. You don't want to lead with your lower leg. It can put extra pressure on your knees. Make sure to watch the beginning of the video for a demonstration.

Equipment

I am using a medium strength resistance band, but make sure to listen to your body and use what feel right for you!

For my birthday this year, I would love to dance with more of you!! And I want to encourage you to bring your friends to class! Let's add to our dance family. :)

For the month of June, anyone new to the class gets their first class for $5! And if you were the one who brought that friend, your class is $5 too!

Hello all! I was planning our June workouts when I noticed something... we have over 200 different dance videos!! (And that number is climbing because I just created some new ones for you! :) )

I thought it would be fun to feature a new dance every week! We'll go from A to Z! Well... A to Y. We don't have a song that starts with "Z"... yet. ;)

Hope this is a fun way to rediscover some old favorites or learn some new dances!
