Kayan’s century lights blizzards’ dominant Victory

The Blizzards put on a masterclass performance, setting a massive target and dominating the game.

Kayan Kumar and Logan Beecher put together a crucial 50-run milestone partnership.

Saharshan Prasanna delivered an exceptional, game-changing spell, tearing through the opposition to finish with incredible figures of 4 wickets for just 16 runs.

HARD FIGHT BY MYCA VORTEX!

Our MYCA (MN) Vortex boys put on a gritty performance in the middle today! After winning the toss and electing to bat, the team fought hard for every single run, setting a target of 144 runs in 29.5 overs.

- Tranav Jaidka anchored the entire innings with a spectacular half-century, smashing 52 runs off 55 balls, including 8 boundaries and a six!
- Arjun Rai provided vital support during a tough stretch, chipping in with a steady 18 runs from 25 balls.
- The squad showed great discipline early on, building a steady foundation right out of the Powerplay.

It was a tough battle through the middle and death overs, but the boys dug deep to give us a total to defend. Now it's time for our bowlers to step up and back up the batters!

Exciting things are happening at Plymouth Meadows Cricket Ground—the proud home of Minnesota Youth Cricket Academy (MYCA)!

A much-needed facelift is officially underway!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of joining Jason Goehring, Turf & Horticulture Manager for the City of Plymouth, and Mark Prince, Owner of Synthetic Turf Solution, to complete the final review of the pitch markings, measurements, and blueprint layout for our newly installed astro-turf wicket.

I'm thrilled to share that the inspections and assessments are now complete, and we're ready to move forward! Our pitch-marking team is standing by and is scheduled to complete the work by Tuesday, July 7.

This is another exciting step toward providing one of the premier Cricket facilities for our youth and the growing Cricket community in Minnesota.
