Yesterday felt like the end of an era for me. After many, many years as Rec Director (so many that I’ve actually lost count!), it was time to close this chapter.

I want to say a huge thank you to Minot Soccer Association for trusting me with the opportunity to develop and grow the rec program. To all the rec parents, thank you for being part of the journey and for supporting the program along the way. And an extra-big, heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who have given their time, energy and passion to make the program what it is today. It truly wouldn’t have been possible without you!

Although this chapter has come to an end, it’s certainly not goodbye to the soccer fields! I’ll still be around, just in a slightly different role — cheering from the sidelines as a soccer mum, refereeing and volunteering whenever I can.

I’m incredibly grateful for the memories, the people and the opportunity to have been part of something so special. ❤️⚽ - Zoe Hodenfield
