🚨 BISMARCK HAS CHALLENGED MINOT! 🚨

Bismarck Softball has officially challenged Minot Softball to an annual Blood Donation Challenge, and we’re accepting!

The goal is simple: 50 units of blood from each city. That means Minot vs. Bismarck, with the real winners being the people who need those donations.

📅 Thursday, November 19
⏰ 1:00–7:00 PM
🎯 Goal: 50 units

Vitalant will help coordinate the location, scheduling, and door prizes. We’ll also be reaching out to teams, managers, sponsors, and local businesses to help us hit our goal.

There’s even talk of getting local bars/businesses involved with pint-for-pint coupons for donors and possibly creating a traveling trophy between Minot and Bismarck.

Between both cities, if we reach our goals, these donations could potentially help save up to 300 lives.

So Minot softball community… Bismarck called us out. Are we really going to let them collect more blood than us?

🏆 COED WEST CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Congratulations to our 2026 Coed West Division Champions!

🥇 Division 1 – Chuckers | Bismarck
🥇 Division 2 – One Hit Wonders | Minot
🥇 Division 3 – Diamond Royalty | Williston

All three teams played some great ball and competed hard all weekend long to earn their championships! It takes a lot to battle through an entire weekend and come out on top.

Congratulations to Chuckers, One Hit Wonders, and Diamond Royalty on bringing home the Coed West titles! 🥎🏆

I couldn’t have pulled this off without all the people who stepped up and helped make the day a success. Thank you to all of our umpires, the Minot Softball League volunteers, everyone who helped behind the scenes, and especially every player who came out and played! You guys made the tournament what it was.

A special thank you to Lexee with Young & Beautiful Photography 📸 for dedicating her time to be out at the fields capturing all the excitement, smiles, competition, and fun throughout the entire day. Having those moments captured for everyone to look back on is awesome and greatly appreciated!

📋 TOURNAMENT RULES
🥎 Standard ASA rules will apply
💣 2 home runs total per team — unlimited home runs for players with HR bands.
⏱️ 65-minute game times — finish the inning.
👫 Guy/Girl lineup until the girls run out.
🥎 If teams have an unequal number of girls, a guy must play catcher for the team with fewer girls as an equalizer in the field.
💣 HOME RUN BANDS ARE $30 and can be purchased before the tournament.
⚠️ IMPORTANT ROSTER NOTE
For those who were added late, please understand that you may be moved to another team if people don't show up. Please be flexible!
Some teams currently have 12 players and some have 11, so we may need to make adjustments on tournament day to keep the teams as even as possible.
The goal is to get everyone on the field, have a great tournament, and raise money for the Air Force Ball! 🇺🇸
⏰ PLEASE BE AT THE FIELDS EARLY AND READY TO PLAY. With 65-minute games, we need to stay on schedule throughout the day.
