Sometimes days don’t go as you’ve planned. Sometimes you sacrifice more than you knew you had. Sometimes a good day means messy hair and a finally sleeping baby in your arms. Life is never the same but so immensely rewarding.

Last day with the bump! Tomorrow afternoon Avienda enters the outside world! I cannot yet put into words what this will be like. So far I have been blessed to continue to keep teaching and dancing while enjoying all the kicks and wiggles she does. Being able to actually see her will be another thing all together. I am so ready to meet my little girl! 🥰

We made it! This last day of school was a relief and oh so bittersweet. I absolutely adore teaching PreK and it has been the hardest decision to stay at home with my own tiny tot. As a class we survived through wearing masks, refraining from hugging friends, virtual learning days when quarantined, and so so many hand washings and sanitizer squirts all to be able to allow in person teaching the entire year. These kids taught me just as much as we taught them; that it’s okay to have bad days and we can do hard things, but most of all that we can find joy in the little things in the midst of chaos. I miss will them all dearly!

Happy Easter! The joy and hope of today is overflowing. We are so blessed to have a God that loves us to give up His only son to conquer death! Then goes beyond that and gives us the Holy Spirit written on our hearts as a guide home as we continue in this journey called life. I am so grateful for all the gifts He has given already this year. A daughter to be born in July, family vaccinated so they can be close again, and a job that allows me to spread the good news each day! God is truly Good!

We are in the home stretch! I am so thankful for all the talented people who have been working tirelessly for a year to make this day possible.

I think we just found a new favorite sandwich shop! If you’re ever up 94 through Michigan it is a must to stop! Can’t wait until summer when live music on the patio starts up again!

From the moment I met Ryan I knew we would be forever. I felt an ease, like a breath of comfort, come over me. I knew I could stop searching for my other half. I never imagined it would take us five years to say, “I do”. God has a way of teaching us patience, forgiveness, and grace when He is preparing us for what is coming next. The strength that we share is due to that long journey to the alter. We have grown in ways that only God could lead us through and He will guide now through forever and for always!
