Before the tournament weekends, the walk-up songs, and the long days at the ball fields they were just little girls with oversized jerseys, tiny gloves, and big dreams. 🥎

These throwback photos are such a fun reminder that every player starts somewhere. From first practices to first hits, this game has helped shape so many memories, friendships, and moments for these girls over the years.

It’s been pretty special getting to watch them grow not just as players, but as teammates and friends too. No matter how much they change these little softball versions of them will always be some of our favorites. 🖤💛

This weekend our girls are stepping up and competing in 12U B and we couldn’t be more excited to watch them challenge themselves, grow, and compete against strong teams. Opportunities like this help build confidence, grit, and teamwork, and these girls are ready to rise to the occasion.

Yesterday was all about sunshine, Eagle Lake, boat rides, laughs, and making memories together. Grateful for a weekend off to slow down, celebrate, and enjoy this team beyond the softball field.

Most importantly, today we remember and honor the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for our country. Thank you to all who have served. ❤️🤍💙

Bracket play energy is DIFFERENT!🔥

The girls battled the Vipers into extra innings this morning and walked it off in the bottom of the 6th with a clutch shot to center from Olivia to seal the win. What a game! 🤯

The girls showed grit, stayed locked in, and fought for every single out. One game down, back at it again at 12:30 in Stevensville, Michigan for game two.

Bracket day — best day! 🥎🔥

Back at Kohn Field this morning and ready to get after it. The girls battled through pool play, stayed tough through every inning, and now it’s time to see what they can do in bracket play.

9:30 AM first pitch. Let’s have a day ladies! Black and yellow!!! 🖤💛

Not a bad way to spend pool play. Went 1-1-1, locked in the #2 seed, and punched our ticket back for bracket play tomorrow.

Canes Great Lakes 11U is back at it at 9:30 AM at Kohn Field. Time to reset, refocus, and go compete. Go Canes! 🥎🔥

Weekend tournament mode: ON 🏴‍☠️🥎

Canes Great Lakes 11U is headed to Coloma, Michigan this weekend for the USSSA Pirate Quest, and these girls are ready to get after it. Pool play starts this evening, followed by two more games Saturday as they continue putting in the work, competing hard, and growing together every single weekend.

One of the coolest parts of travel ball is watching the progress happen in real time. The confidence growing, the teamwork clicking, the friendships getting stronger, and the girls learning how to battle through every inning together. Long days at the fields, dirt everywhere, and softball all weekend long but honestly we wouldn’t want it any other way.

Excited to watch this team compete, cheer each other on, and make more memories this weekend. Let’s go Canes! 🖤💛

Back at Penn Park this Sunday for bracket play at the Spring Swing in Osceola. New day, fresh start, and a chance to keep building on what we’ve been doing. All the early mornings, long weekends, and extra work show up in moments like this.

This team continues to show up for each other, stay locked in, and compete with purpose. Proud of the energy, the grit, and the way they keep pushing.
