Zander Taking Another Step With The Backs - BC Lions
As the Lions’ offence continues to find its groove in the early days of camp, the team can take solace in the fact that it boasts perhaps the finest collection of running backs it has seen in years. Coming off a career-high 1,213 rushing yards in 2025, James Butler looks to be as dominant as […]

Prayer warriors keep it up!
We have good news to share.
Marian assistant basketball coach Brian Foster had a very long surgery today to repair his neck. His family tells us surgery was a success!
Coach Foster remains in a coma and on a ventilator to assist with recovery and will have a long road ahead of him but his family remains hopeful for continued progress.
He’ll have an additional surgery this week.
The injuries were sustained after Brian was involved in a serious accident after being hit by a semi truck.
The family is grateful for all your prayers and asks that you continue to keep Brian in your prayers.
They just started a Go Fund Me to assist with hospital costs, lost wages and family daily needs. You can contribute here: https://gofund.me/232fb6614

Prayers for Brian Foster and the entire Foster family! The Marian High School football family will thinking about you and praying for you.
Rosary for Coach Foster
Coach Foster has always been there for all of us with support and love and I think, especially now, we should return that support and love as he goes through his surgery.
We will be saying a rosary for Coach Foster at the grotto at Marian High School at 3 PM for anybody that can to attend. Please feel free to reach out to anybody or anyone who wants to attend.

Had the pleasure of spending time with two former Marian Knight state champs tonight. Dan Foster (left) and John Mauro (right) were on the 1975 and 1976 historic teams! Dan started at left guard and John started at defensive end and tight end.
We will honor them and their teams this fall at a home game.

Once a Knight, Always a Knight!
Ross Perri was born on April 13, 1950, in South Bend, Indiana, where his lifelong connection to Indiana football began. A graduate of Marian High School (Class of 1969), he excelled as a student-athlete under Coach Bob Otolski, laying the foundation for a long coaching career defined by leadership, discipline, and dedication to the game.
He began his coaching journey in 1971 at St. Monica’s Catholic grade school. There, he quickly made an impact by guiding football, baseball, and basketball teams to multiple league championships. From the start, his ability to develop and mentor young athletes stood out, setting the tone for a career built on teaching and leadership.
Perri later returned to Marian High School, where he continued to build his coaching reputation. He led the Freshman Knights to an undefeated 9–0 season and served in key roles including defensive coordinator. His defenses became known for their toughness and discipline, helping shape some of the program’s most successful teams. He also contributed as an assistant track coach, helping athletes reach the state level in sprinting events.
Throughout more than four decades, he coached at several Michiana-area schools, including Edwardsburg (as head coach), John Glenn, Bremen, South Bend Riley, Penn, and Mishawaka. Across these programs, he was part of numerous successful seasons and championship-caliber teams while continuing to develop strong defensive units and mentoring student-athletes alongside respected coaching staffs.
Ross Perri’s legacy extends far beyond wins and losses. He is remembered for the countless athletes and coaches he influenced, and for his unwavering commitment to Indiana football. His induction into the Indiana Football Hall of Fame honors a career built on hard work, consistency, and a lifelong dedication to the game and its athletes.
