⭐ SUNDAY SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ⭐
Our next spotlight of 2026 shines on Adelai Homb!
Adelai's favorite volleyball memory so far is playing Hilbert junior year and beating them in 3, and the thing Adelai will miss most about Mishicot volleyball is her teammates 🫶🏼. Adelai's favorite high school memory so far is lifting after school with Lexie, and if she could be an Olympic athlete in anything (not a sport) she would choose procrastinating. So far in life, Adelai is most proud of finding power through every struggle, and her favorite food is pasta 🍝. If she could travel anywhere in the world she would visit Ibiza 🌴, and her favorite athlete is Jordan Chiles. If volleyball had walk up songs before serving, Adelai's would be "OWA OWA" by Lil Tecca, and her favorite quote is " Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, then it's not the end". Adelai's biggest pet peeve is people chewing with their mouth open, and if she had a superpower it would be super strength 💪🏼. She says her teammates would describe her as "optimistic", and if she could be a Disney princess she would be Rapunzel. Adelai is passionate about weight lifting 🏋‍♀️, and she says one word to describe herself is "bubbly". One thing Adelai can't live without are her sisters, and her favorite cartoon character is Flounder. She most admires her parents because they have always been there for her. As a child, Adelai wanted to be a dolphin trainer 🐬 when she grew up. Adelai will be majoring in communication sciences and disorders after graduation.

Our first spotlight of 2026 shines on Aubrie Heyroth!
Aubrie's favorite volleyball memory so far is before games when everyone is getting ready and listening to hype music 🎶, and the thing Aubrie will miss most about Mishicot volleyball is not seeing her girls every day 🫶🏼. Aubrie's favorite thing about Mishicot is how close everyone is, and if she could be an Olympic athlete in anything (not a sport) she would choose jetskiing/tubing. So far in life, Aubrie is most proud of how easily she can bond and make a connection with anyone, and her favorite food is sushi 🍣. If Aubrie could travel anywhere in the world she would visit Greece 🇬🇷, and her favorite smell in the whole world is fresh baked cookies 🍪 . If volleyball had walk up songs before serving, Aubrie's would be "Cherry Pie" by Warrent, and her favorite quote is "live life full throttle". Aubrie's biggest pet peeve is sticky/dirty hands, and if she had a superpower it would be teleportation. Aubrie says her teammates would describe her as "full of energy", and if she could be a Disney princess she would be Princess Tiana. Aubrie is passionate about being on the lake ⛵️, and she says one word to describe herself is "energetic". Aubrie most admires her dad because he is the best role model and person she could ask for. As a child, Aubrie wanted to be a Kardashian when she grew up. Aubrie will be pursuing her bachelor of science degree in nursing 👩🏼‍⚕️ after graduation.
