On this 25th anniversary, we pause together in remembrance.
We hold all those whose lives were lost on September 11, 2001, in our hearts and send our deepest love and compassion to the families, friends, and loved ones who have carried their absence through these twenty-five years.
We remember not only the sorrow of that day, but also the extraordinary courage, kindness, and humanity that rose in its aftermath.
We give thanks for the hands that reached out, the hearts that opened, the strangers who became helpers, and the communities that came together to care for one another.
May we remember that even in the darkest moments, there are gifts that can be revealed when we unite—the gift of compassion, the strength of community, the courage to rebuild, and the healing power of standing together for the common good.
Let these events inspire us to live with greater kindness, greater understanding, and a deeper commitment to one another.
And may we always remember:
We are stronger when we stand together.
We are healed when we reach for one another.
And love is the legacy we can choose to leave behind.
And so it is. Amen. 🙏
