The first ever gyppo! Come by the student lair and see the Woodsman teams booth!

The season came to a close Saturday in Missoula Montana at the University of Montana Pro/Am show. Emma Charlet placed 2nd in vertical Hard Hit, and 2nd in horizontal hardhit. Anthony Owens placed 6th in stock saw, 6th in Vertical Hard Hit, and 5th in axe throw. Jon Blanc placed 5th in Horizontal Hard hit, and Andrew Michel placed 4th in Vertical Hard Hit. Emma and Jon placed 6th in jack and jill Sawing, Emma and Anthony placed 4th in peavy log roll, Anthony and Jon placed 4th in double buck sawing, and Andrew and J.R. Steele placed 6th in double buck sawing. The team also placed 4th in team standings.

We would like to thank all the support we have received this past season as the team traveled all across the west to compete. We would also like to thank our sponsors Whites Boots, Nicks boots, Walker tree farm, Washington Farm Forestry Association, Clint Stevens, and Ty Oliver for all the help they gave us and made this season possible. Also a big thank you to the Advisor of the Gyppos Tom Rieger for the countless hours of practice, maintaining equipment, paperwork, driving, and making sure everything runs smoothly.
