A proposed50-70 mile hiking, biking and equestrian trail between the Rattlesnake Recreation Area in Missoula and Seeley Lake.

The Trail is a joint project of the Missoula and Seeley Lake Community Foundations. The idea began in Seeley Lake in 2011, where local residents swapped stories about celebrated author Norman Maclean and his brother Paul hiking from Missoula to Seeley Lake in a day. Before long, the Seeley Lake Community Foundation adopted the trail as a leadership project and enlisted the Missoula Community Found
