Alex did a great job representing us yesterday! He shot a great round of 76 and was 1 over par for the majority of the day.

Unfortunately that fell a couple of strokes shy of advancing to the state finals, but for our Freshman, we know there will be many more opportunities for him!

Thank you everyone for your continued support this year! It was a great one!

Full season recap coming soon!

The first round of playoffs concluded yesterday and it was a great day.

Kaylee Harrison just missed advancing to the next round on the ladies side.

On the men's side Alex Foster(+2/74)and Carson Akridge(+3/75) shot very well and both finished in the top 10.

Alex would have to play in a sudden death playoff hole format against another player from Saint Paul's.

The hole was the 16th hole on the crossings. Playing from the orange tees Alex hit his best drive over the day around 315 yards and leaving him only 195 into the pin. After leaving his second shot in the bunker the other player placed his 3rd shot to about 20 feet and Alex made a great bunker shot from about 20 yards and left himself a tap in birdie from 3 inches. It all came down to the birdie try from the competitor and he left the putt short and Alex claimed his spot in the sub state round next week in Auburn.

Great playing by Carson and Alex both and we look forward to Alex representing us next week.

This marks the 6th season in a row we have either had a team or individual advance to the elite 8.

Congrats again Carolynn! We are super proud of you!

The regular season wrapped up last week and it was a great one for many of our players.

On Monday the men's team competed at Andalusia Country Club and had a top 5 finish. The team was led by Alex Foster with a round of 76 and a runner up finish by one stroke.

On Tuesday the men's team competed in their final county match of the season and now have a record of 28 and 1 the last 3 seasons in those matches. The team was led by Carson Akridge who posted a 1 under 35 and Alex posted a one over 37. Helping seal the victory was Gray Parker and Connor Burroughs who both posted low 40s rounds from the orange tees at Magnolia Grove.

On Wednesday Alex and Carson had a great battle in the match play tournament and Alex went on to defend his title for the second season in a row.

On the ladies side Kaylee Harrison was the 1 seed going into the tournament and she played like it winning her final match on the last hole to claim her first match play championship. 3 of the last 4 ladies and 4 of the last 6 mens match play champions have come from our program.

The final regular season match for the ladies was Thursday and we said goodbye to our senior players at Heron Lakes. We were led by Kaylee Harrison and Kortney Rester and Katelynn Do both had their best rounds of the season.

Playoffs begin Monday at Magnolia Grove. Good luck to both of our teams and congrats on a great season.
