Storm update on tennis facilities as of 10/10:

Thanks to our crew at MTC, LP and MOH parks, all facilities are in great shape with no damage after the storm. Medal of Honor is open for play this weekend. Mobile Tennis Center is closed until Monday morning due to obstacles on the courts. 60 courts are great; but after storm prep that’s 60 courts the crew has to untie and stand umpire chairs and benches, put scorecards, coolers, and garbage cans back in place, and blow debris. We have a crew coming Sunday morning to clean and re-assemble the facility so it will be ready Monday morning for tennis. 🎾

Preparing for Hurricane Isaias with Mobile Tennis Center

Over the past few days, our staff has worked hard to secure our facility. With 70+ courts throughout 3 different facilites, it takes every staff member (and even some lovely volunteers) to get it all done.

A few of our tasks included:
- Cutting windscreens and securing them
- Removing tent walls and roof panels
- Securing all outdoor furniture
- Lay down and secure all umpire’s chairs
- Remove all scoreboards
- & more!!
