Gulfport’s Brittney Reese begins Olympic competition Tuesday Gulfport native Brittney Reese is pursuing her second gold medal in the long jump after winning in London in 2012. Former Southern Miss star Tori Bowie won her qualifying heat in the 200 meters Monday morning in Rio.

Sooooo......hello family!!!! This page has been dormant for a few years now. With the recent unexpected loss of our beloved, brother, cousin, uncle Anthony....I felt the need to bring this page to life so that we could all breath life back into it, family communication and reviving the family reunion. FIRST AND FOREMOST: "NO MAN IS AN ISLAND AND NO MAN STANDS ALONE"
With this being said....I am asking each of my dear sweet family members in YOUR respective city/state choose ONE representative and ONE alternate representative (if you're the only person in your area then the rep is YOU 😆) so we can began reviving the family reunions and family functions. The page is open to post family announcements, updates, etc. So, post your ideas, thoughts, griefs (keep these to a minimum please 😘)....encouragement. I love you all and look forward to seeing the progression of our efforts.

We made to decision to go North due to the family have been coming down this way for the last few reunions. Uncle Dent said every six months we all need to be update on paying dues. If you pay your dues monthly then when family reunion comes around you are covered. Also I spoke with Pete and Robert and they want the reunion up North and either of those locations will be nice.

At the meeting there was some success. If you pay your dues for the 2011 reunion and did not attend you can either get a refund or roll it over for the 2013 reunion. Also it was also noted that seniors will pay only $150 in dues and college students will only pay $100 for dues. There a suggestion to have 3 locations to pick for the next reunion, they are New York, Indiana and Detroit. We want all of the young people to get involved with making the decision and to help keep our family together.
