There are a lot of changes happening in the Gulf Coast soccer community that we believe will have a positive effect on youth soccer. The Gulf Coast Revelers FC was formed to be an independent organization to bring together the best players from area clubs to compete in showcase tournaments for greater exposure. That mission has not changed. As we let the dust settle, we remain ready to continue that mission when the opportunity and community is ready.

It is with great disappointment we have to announce that the Gulf Coast Revelers FC will not have a 2020 season. Due to the extreme conditions created by COVID19, resulting in restricted traveling, we don't see a way forward for the GCRFC this season. However as the country recovers and adapts to this illness, we look forward to the return of the Revelers this Summer. Stay well and we will see you all again soon.

Tour Schedule – 3v3 Live Soccer Tour

Big News - the Gulf Coast Revelers FC College Showcase teams will begin their season in November. We are making some adjustments due to Covid19 and have made a decision on our age groups this season. We will have boys teams in ‘02, ‘03, ‘05, and ‘06. There will be a one day evaluation open to all club affiliated players (any club) in late October, or early November. Once that date is announced, please make every effort to attend that evaluation. We will be attending at least two tournaments as well as conduct high level scrimmages. Next year we hope to return to a larger evaluation period and locations, but today we adapt. Be sure to like this page for up to the minute updates and we will open our evaluation registration at gulfcoastrevelersfc.com soon. Players with birth years 2007-2002 are eligible to attend. And remember tryouts are open to all club affiliated players, regardless of club affiliation.

As we continue our look back on the inaugural season of the Gulf Coast Revelers FC, we next spotlight the ’05 Boys…

The 2005 Gulf Coast Revelers Boys completed their season by traveling to three showcase tournaments, in three different state: North Carolina, Georgia and finally wrapping up its final tournament in Tennessee. They finished with a successful 5-1-3 record in these highly competitive showcases. The ‘05 Boys were not only able to compete in some of the top level tournaments in the country, but were also forwarded opportunities to display their talent to several coaches. This was a team that had an DNA of an array of clubs, namely Birmingham United SA (BUSA), Gulf Coast Rangers FC, Mobile United FC and RAD (Real Athletic Development) FC being amongst the clubs that these players represented. The success truly comes from here as these players collectively displayed some great performances. While it is true that they played for a neutral organization, the Gulf Coast Revelers Futbol Confederation, they represented so much more than just a different team. Collectively and individually they were the ambassadors for their home clubs, soccer in the Gulf Coast area, and the light for this new and innovating concept. The Revelers platform for soccer on the coast, showed promise and success in bringing some of the best players in the area together outside, and in addition to, their club commitments and displayed to the rest of the country what the Coast has to offer. We have had quite a few folks asking about the Revelers for this Fall. We will be offering this opportunity again, but only after all of the home clubs have completed tryouts (which are going to be somewhat delayed). We do anticipate starting earlier this season to make sure all teams get their allotted number of showcase tournament opportunities. Our inaugaral season was a success and a learning experience, which will insure Fall 2020 will be even better!!!

With our first season well behind us, we want to take a look back at the teams from this Fall. We start with our first ever girls team. They were the first to play a game under the Gulf Coast Revelers FC.

The 2005 Gulf Coast Revelers Girls took the pitch this past Fall 2019 in their inaugural season. The success of the development of this team came from a group of players that will definitively define soccer on the coastline in the upcoming years. This team represented and formed from three different clubs consisting of Gulf Breeze, Gulf Coast Rangers FC and Mobile United FC. These fine young soccer players displayed individual talent that projects themselves beyond their years technically, tactically and psychologically. Bringing these talented girls together has truly been a successful endeavor and one we are anticipating exceeding this coming 2020 season. Go Gulf Coast Revelers!

We are pleased to announce the first member of the inaugural season's Gulf Coast Revelers FC '02 Boy's team has signed on to play for the University of Mobile Men's team in Fall 2020, Jacob DeLange. His home club is Mobile United Futbol Club and he plays varsity for Davidson High School. Congratulations Jacob on this well earned achievement!

Another congratulations going to our Revelers ‘05 Boys for another win on their final match of the tournament and season. They finished up with a 1-0 win against United 1996 FC 05 Boys. They were 2-0-1 (two wins and one tie) in the tournament. Great job lads!!!
