Game on! Williamson and Vigor square off tonight at 7 p.m. in an AHSAA 5A state semifinal showdown at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. Get your tickets at GoFan.co. And good luck to both teams!

The Vigor Wolves and the Williamson Lions, two MCPSS teams, will face off in a much-anticipated rematch at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on Friday, November 28. Kick off will be at 7 p.m.
• Gates for the Vigor v. Williamson game will open at 5 p.m.
• Williamson is the home team and will occupy the west side (press box side) of Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
• Every fan must purchase a ticket to attend. MCPSS recommends that fans purchase tickets in advance on GoFan.co. Tickets are $14. Children under the age of 6 are free. There will be a cash-only option to purchase tickets at the gate.
• Parking will cost $10 per vehicle, cash-only. The parking lot will open at 4 p.m.
• There will be no tailgating.
MCPSS will implement its regular Game Day Safety Procedures.
• Only clear bags will be allowed at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, and all bags are subject to search upon entry.
• All fans will walk through a metal detector at the gate. Williamson fans should enter gate 2 West or 3 West. Vigor fans should enter gate 2 East or 3 East. There will be no crossing over to the other team’s side.
• Prohibited items include the following: outside food or beverages; umbrellas; fog horns or any other loud noisemakers; drones; lasers; alcoholic beverages or any type of weapon.
• MCPSS reserves the right to deny entry and/or to remove anyone. There will be no re-entry once a fan leaves the stadium.
• We strongly recommend that all students/minors be accompanied by adults when attending the game.
• Only media with official AHSAA playoff credentials will be allowed.

Congratulations to the Vigor Wolves and the Williamson Lions on making the AHSAA football semifinals! The winner will play for the AHSAA State Championship game in
Birmingham on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 7pm.
