This weekend we were in Gulfport for the Back 2 School race and overall is was a weekend that was up and down. We got there Friday and I got to tune Zack Pearce for one of the shootouts and it was pretty fun until a 7 pack gets put on him 😂. Saturday, we doubled and I took 1 entry to the 3rd round and the other entry to the 4th round to get put out by Zack. The car wasn’t as consistent as it was with previous races so we were struggling there but Sunday was a much better day where we got it done for 5k! Everything was good and made some very good laps Sunday and had a lot of good races. With this being one of our last races in a jr this is definitely good to see. Hoping to make the most of the rest of the year and carry our momentum!

Bristol 2024. Man this year was undoubtedly the most up and down year we have ever had 😂. This year we decided to leave early and left on Wednesday night and got to the track Thursday morning . We ran all the fun races along with the Teel race and the Baby Gators divisional race. We really couldn’t get past 4th round and exiting 3rd-4th round in every race. ECF came next, that was the worst pass of the whole week, a first round exit with me going red and my guy being just crazy late. ECF 2024 was a up and down one but like always, we will be back!

After weeks and weeks of not racing and watching the days go by, we get back to racing and head to Montgomery International Dragway for our first race back. Saturday was good for the start, got down to 3 cars and struggling with the tree all day I absolutely missed it and that ends our first race. That night there was a gamblers race and I took a early 2 round exit from just struggling with the tree. Sunday was much better after figuring out the tree and having the finish line down perfectly and ending up with a win on sunday! First race back in over a month and call this a success!

Over the past couple weeks, we have traveled to Georgia and Mississippi. Our performance in Georgia at the NHRA event was disappointing to say the least. We made it to the semi finals and the car stumbled off the line and that ended our day. This past weekend, we attended the KOC in Gulfport and it wasn’t much better. Saturday I’m just flat out late on the tree and our day was over early. Sunday, we were better up front but 3rd round I made a finish line mistake and lost the round. Now we wait for our next race and get this season turned around.

We headed out on Friday morning, bright and early, hoping to hit the track at South Georgia for our first of three time runs. But, as luck would have it, the rain would have other plans. Saturday morning, the NHRA crew along with the SGMP crew worked for hours getting the track dry and ready for us to race only for it to start raining again but we did manage to get our one and only time run in a little later that afternoon. Sunday, we went straight into the first round and managed to turn on the win light. In the second round, we completely missed the tree and got beat. Congratulations to Braxton on the win! It wasn't the weekend we were hoping for, but we did see a lot of friends and we had a great time. Next up is Silver Dollar, we picked up a win there last year, so I hope to keep that streak going. Well with the rain not cooperating with us that does it for the Baby Gators.. With a decision to make this run up at ECF. Next we prepare for the next one and hope for better weather and a good result 😂
