💚💙 Not the ending we expected… but still a season we’ll never forget. 💙💚

This weekend didn’t go the way any of us planned and even while writing this I am still in disbelief. After weather delays and schedule changes on Saturday we arrived ready to give it everything we had Sunday morning, only to learn the event had been canceled due to an unexpected and serious incident. Our hearts are with the staff member who was seriously injured along with all of the other gyms and families that had to handle all of the shocking news as well.

To say we are disappointed would be an understatement. These athletes have worked so hard all season long, and they deserved their moment on that mat. It was heartbreaking to see their tears. 💔

But if there’s one thing about Team Infinity, it’s that we show up. 💪🏼. And that’s exactly what our girls and their families did.

While some teams weren’t able to make it, Cosmic Stars and Cosmic Reign showed up dressed, ready, and determined. We took to the grass, ran our routines, hit stunts and cheered each other on. Even through the tears and the hurt, together we made the best out of something completely out of our control and it made me so proud.

No, we didn’t leave with trophies this time.
But we left with something more important; resilience, teamwork, pride, and hearts that are so incredibly full.

To our athletes: we could not be more proud of you. The strength, flexibility, and positivity you showed in a tough moment speaks louder than any score sheet ever could.

To our families: thank you for always supporting, always showing up, and always believing in these kids and us.

This may not have been the ending we imagined… but it doesn’t take away from the amazing season we had. Love my cheer family!
