Round 2 was our final game. We lost our last game to the Bulls 31-26. Logan Barnett was our leading scorer with 12 points. Russell Prillaman had 8 points. Akelia Young with 6 points. Luke McCraw had 3 points and Colton OBrien had 2 points along with Daniel Bueno for 1 point. We led the 2nd and 3fd quarters but couldn't get any shots to fall in the fourth quarter scoring only 1 point in the last 8 minutes of play. On the season we ended with a 5-4 record which was good enough for a 3rd place finish. Our leading scorers for the season were Logan Barnett with 83 points, Luke McCraw with 74 points and Akelia Young with 57 who missed two games due to a concussion she received on the court. It was a winning season, every player was a scorer and a starter so for me it was a success I would like to thank Mr Barnett, Mr. OBrien and Mr. Darnell for their help this season. I wish every player the very best in life and nothing but success in all they do. Farewell to the 2026 season.

Round 1 of the tournament was a success. We won the game 31-26. Logan Barnett was our leading scorer with 10 points with his brother Miles Barnett following closely with 8 points. Colton OBrien laid in two 3 point shots for 6 points. Akelia Young had 5 points and Luke McCraw also had 2 points on the night. On to Round 2.

Ɓig win for our last game. It left our record at 4-3 for our regular schedule and a winning season for 2026. Every player was a starter and a scorer this season which is always my goal as a coach. Luke McCraw was our leading scorer with 14 points. Logan Barnett had 6 points. Russell Prillaman and Akelia Young had 4 points each. Miles Barnett had 3 points and Uriel Bueno had 1 point on the night. On to the first round of the tournament.

What a game!!! We finally clicked on all cylinders tonight. 3 pointers, fast breaks, pass first mentality and great defense. It reminded me of why I have kept coaching basketball for the last ten years. When everything you have said and preached at every practice all season finally sinks in and they just go out and do it. It really is a beautiful thing to watch as a coach.. Logan Barnett showed up and showed out tonight with 21 points. Luke McCraw took a beating on the point but still came home with 15 points. Also adding to our points total were Miles Barnett with 8, Colton OBrien with 4, Russell Prillaman with 4 and Daniel Bueno with 3 points as well. Ended the night with ice cream at Huffman's for the team. Great effort tonight Mocksville SkyWalkers .

We lost tonight to the Bulls 47-34. We had foul trouble in the 4th qtr. and one of our best shooters was out on the injury list. We give them a run for the money for the majority of the game. Logan Barnett was our highest scorer tonight with 14 points followed closely by Luke McCraw with 12. Miles Barnett and Colton OBrien each had 4 points each on the night. On to the next game. .

Second win of the season and back to .500. Luke McCraw was our leading scorer with 9 points. Akelia Young had 8, Miles Barnett with 7 followed by Russel Prillaman for 6 points. Colton OBrien and Logan Barnett added 4 points each to give us a total of 38 points and the win. Akelia Young may be out for the season after taking a hard foul that left her with a concussion.and a strained neck muscle. Let's all pray for a speedy recovery for her.

Tough loss last night. We just ran out of steam in the 4th quarter. We were down by 1 going into the fourth and the game just didn't go our way. Akelia Young for the third game in a row was our leading score with 10 points. Luke McCraw had 7 points, Logan Barnett had 6 points, Russel Prillaman had 4 points, Miles Barnett and Uriel Bueno both had 3 points each. On to the next game.

Game 2
Great team performance. Final score 36-22 for the SkyWalkers. Akelia Young is our lead scorer again this week with 14 points. Followed closely by Miles Barnett with 10 points. Luke McCraw had 4 points with Russel Prillaman, Colton O'Brien, Daniel Bueno and Logan Barnett all having 2 points each. Great job on the boards on both ends which secured the game. That puts us at 1-1 going into game 3. On to the next.

Game 1
Final score 40-38 for our first loss in our season opener. I know exactly what we need to work on moving forward to our next game.. We have two practices due to a bye before our next game to improve off our troubles tonight. Akelia Young was our lead scorer tonigh with 10 points. Miles Barnett was close behind her with 9 points. Luke McCraw and Logan Barnett had 8 points each while Brody Darnell and Colton O Brien both on the board with 2 points on the night. I had 6 out of my 9 players score tonight in our first game which is a very good stat. The kids really played hard tonight. I made a bad call on that last second inbound pass play. It forced us to take a bad shot in our last possession of the game and ended our night. On to our next game.

The season comes to an end after our loss in overtime today in the tournament. Its the sad day for me as a coach to see this group for the last time as a team. We ended up 4-4 for the regular season and these kids played hard to win those games. Thanks for the heart and hustle from the players and the support from the parents. I wish this group nothing but success in everything they do in life. I wish every player and their families a great 2025.
