Reminder that Motown will be CLOSED on Sunday for Fathers Day.

All racers be sure to pick up a fresh copy of all the race schedules.

Reminding DRAG RACERS, we will open at 8:00am, and begin racing at 11am on Saturday for the 1.200 Mowdown Drag Race.
Friday we will open at 3pm - 8pm, for yoru practice needs

I really feel this is the coolest vintage look shirt we have made yet for drag racing.

1/32 RACE SCHEDULE 6-14-26 Below is NEW schedule for 1/32 racing.
Adjusted some classes to support racing 3 same classes for up to 2 months, per many racers suggestion.
Also updated schedule to CORRECT the racing , as we eare CLOSED on 6-21-26, Father's Day. Moved that race to Saturday 6-27, so as not interfere with FastTrack schedule.

In addition, adjusted the FRiday Night Special race night into the 3rd Friday of each month.

Lastly, stay tuned in approx 3 days for a big announcment about the Corvette Race on Sept 12th weekend. !!!!

Below is updated Drag schedule for remainder of year. Please use this schedule only. (Also printed at Motown)

1/24 ROAD SCHEDULE dated 6-14-26. UPDATED
We are moving to racing on the 2nd & 4th Fridays of each month for 1/24 racing.
Each month, we will run:
2nd Friday= Super B & Wing Car
4th Friday= Super B & rotating Classes.
Motown is making this decision to see if we can funnel the available racers into coming on those 2 defined Fridays, as attendance now is scattered with different racers showing on different Fridays, leading to no racing at all.

Of the (32) available races this year, we have raced (5) races, or only 15% of races. Even in those, we struggle to have enough racers to run center (4) at times, as well as lack of turn marsahlls.

It is unfair to those dedicated racers to have them show up, just to have no racing 85% of the time. Hopefully this attempt to funnel everyone into twice a month will help.

We will continue to review things, and further adjust as we see participation levels going forward
