East Stanislaus County officially named a ‘Clean California Community’
The East Stanislaus Resource Conservation District announced that East Stanislaus County has officially earned the unique designation as an official “Clean California Community” from Caltrans’ Clean CA initiative.

We did it, East Stanislaus County!
The East Stanislaus Resource Conservation District (ESRCD) is proud to announce that East Stanislaus County has officially earned designation as a Clean California Community, becoming one of just 100 communities statewide recognized through Caltrans’ Clean California initiative.
This achievement reflects years of collaboration with volunteers, schools, community groups, local agencies, and residents who have joined us in cleaning up waterways, restoring habitat, planting pollinator gardens, beautifying public spaces, and educating the next generation of environmental stewards.
While we’re proud of this milestone, we’re just getting started!
Help us identify cleanup priorities and expand Clean California efforts throughout East Stanislaus County by taking our community survey.
⬆️Complete the survey here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfCpwy-QbAzJr1BEgF3wdv2NztsJNQ4icwFLKZPAB5dZ8VBbw/viewform to share your input and help shape future cleanup and beautification projects in our community.

Farmer Friday is evolving.
Instead of asking growers to come to us, we want to come to you!
Our new Farmer Field Walks are focused on building stronger relationships with local growers through on-farm visits and practical conservation support.
We’ll bring the coffee, walk the property with you, listen to your goals and challenges, and explore opportunities related to soil health, irrigation efficiency, habitat, conservation planning, funding opportunities, and more.
Every operation is different, and these visits are designed to meet you where you are.
Interested in having ESRCD visit your farm or ranch? Reach out to Chris Yohannan at [email protected] to start the conversation.
More details coming soon.

Check out this beautiful blooming Elegant Clarkia! This annual wildflower is part of our native wildflower see mix and if you planted yours earlier this year, you might be seeing some blooms. This amazing wildflower is great for your home garden and helps attract native bees and other pollinators.
