TRINITY RIDER SPOTLIGHT:

This summer Fiona's parents leased a pony for her to be able to form a partnership and grow as a rider. This little girl takes 12 to 15 lessons every month, on her leased pony and on lesson horses. Sometimes she takes two lessons per day. She also comes out random days just to groom, hack or walk her pony.

She was super excited for the horse show this weekend. In fact, she could barely sleep and woke up at 3 am ready to head to the equestrian center.

When we arrived at the show the first day we realized that every other rider had scratched out of her division. She was the only rider in Crossrail Trotters.

So, Morgan had to move Fiona up to a division where she had to canter. Fiona was not nervous about it at all. In fact, her smile filled her face when she heard the news. Spending that much time in the saddle definitely paid off for this duo this weekend.

In 2023, Morgan’s personal horse was injured at a show and required surgery. Though the operation went well, he contracted a severe surgical field infection. His leg, joints, and tendon sheath became septic, leading to a recommendation for euthanasia.

Today, three years later, my daughter and her horse successfully jumped a course at a local show. They weren't competing at their previous Hunter Derby heights, but they were jumping. The smile on her face as she rode him made the moment far more meaningful than any fence height. Because the jumps were small, he didn't need to put in his usual effort or get to show off his phenomenal form—but that wasn't the point. They jumped.

We are SO excited to announce this clinic! I have had the pleasure of riding with Bernie twice and he is a wealth of knowledge and experience and a wonderful trainer.

One of our goals when we started this barn was to host top professionals and invite all our surrounding barns and fellow equestrians to join us and learn! We want to grow our community and promote unity and friendship, while we all learn more about the sport we love!

We lost a legend in our area today. Ms. Gail was my PE teacher in 8th grade. I used to go to every barrel race I could just to watch her run.

As I got older, we became friends. I cherished that friendship. She was the best horsewoman, but an even more incredible human. My heart is shattered this morning....it's such a tremendous loss.

I should have known when I woke up that the universe had shifted. The sun is a lot brighter, the birds are chirping extra loud, and there is a gentle breeze rustling in the trees. Heaven is certainly rejoicing, but my soul is crushed.

We definitely want to celebrate Sarah Kate and her lease of Goodride Machine AKA Wyatt!!! These two have so much potential and we just can't wait to watch them grow together. They have their first show this month!!! Congratulations SK!!! 🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉

Take me back to Tampa! I am ready for SEMF. I don't want to wait a year. If you haven't attended this show, you are missing out. I wish I had known a decade ago and hadn't missed out on all of those years.
