Staunton River Golden Eagles Track and Field

Talk about making great strides. Staunton River High School’s Joshua Jackson is officially the Region 3D Triple Jump Champion.

Joshua carried that momentum all the way to the VHSL Class 3 State Championship, where he delivered an outstanding performance against the top athletes in Virginia. He earned the title of state runner-up in both the triple jump and the long jump.

Please join Bedford County Public Schools in congratulating Joshua on a remarkable season of athletic achievement!

Josh is back in action today in the long jump, starting around 9:30am!!

Josh Jackson…Your Class 3 Boys Triple Jump State Runner up!!! Josh placed 2nd today against some strong competition and improved his seeding! We are so proud of him!! Josh is in action again tomorrow in the Long Jump!
