Hey everyone, it’s Justin from The Tac Shack. After twelve incredible years it’s official. We are finally passing the torch. ( I truly mean it this time 🤣).
Picture this: It’s 2013, I’m sweating bullets setting up The Tac Shack’s first display racks at the old store on Euclid Ave, not sure if anyone would even show up. Eleven years later, your repeat visits, patient questions, and weekend range chatter built more than a store. They built memories I’ll replay in my head and heart for as long as I live. My family owes you dinners out, tuition checks, and much much more. Your loyalty put food on my table and clothes on the backs of my children. I will forever be grateful, as there is no value I can place on your loyalty. It is Priceless. But life’s rerouting us now. I have officially confirmed my last day behind the counter will be Wednesday, September24th, 10am - 6pm. If schedules allow, please drop in. I’ll have fresh coffee, a stack of thank-yous, and time to hear how that .308 held up on the Elk hunt or how your shot group got a little tighter over the summer. So, please stop in, shake hands, sign the guest book and grab one last box of brass. It’ll mean everything to me.
To the new owners: Run it honest, keep prices fair, and treat shooters like family. It's the sole reason why we lasted this long in the business.
To all of you: Stay safe at the line, keep your bo**er hookers off the bang bang switch until you have acquired your target, and know you've got my lifelong gratitude. May God bless your aim, your hunts, and every piece of brass you send flying.
With the up-most respect, love & gratitude,
Justin
