Happy New Year to all our farm family and friends! May 2026 brings joy, happiness and peace to you and your horse(s)!!!
Little Shoal Creek Farm is a 20 acre farm located in rural Walton County. The horses are out on pasture except during inclement weather.
Horses are rotated between 4 pastures that we carefully manage so our herds remain happy and healthy.

I was driving to the farm one afternoon recently. Out of the corner of my eye, I caught these flowers brilliantly alit in the afternoon sunlight. The yellow was so bright I had to stop. It was as if I was being called to come see. As I got close to the flowers I noticed that all their little faces were facing the sun. Of course I knew that sunflowers did this but to witness it……Oh my heart……it needed reminding that all I need to do is look up! All I need to do is keep my gaze upward toward the Son! Thank you for my gentle reminder. You are a good, good Father. ❤️

We have a horse for lease at our farm. He is a 10 year old Palomino QH. He has a very outgoing personality. His daily care will be managed for you so all you need to do is come out and enjoy him whenever your schedule allows. It also includes two lessons a month and coaching as needed so that you can learn about horse ownership without having the full commitment required. If you are interested in leasing him, give me a call. 678.481.4467

It’s been a long time since I’ve written. Grief is a terrible thing. But here’s what I have learned….life goes on. You have to keep moving and loving. Expanding not contracting. It’s a difficult thing to do but so worth it when you figure out how. I’m still trying to figure it out. One way was through Dave. Dave came into my care in January. I’ve always loved Dave. He’s a kind, gentle soul and I thought he was worth saving. Even though I realize there might be more going on here than carefully selected grocery items, he’s worth every minute we get to spend together. He loves the simple things. Like grazing in the cool of a summer evening, feeding on a big bucket if beet pulp, or just being able to walk on rocks without discomfort. It’s amazing what some boots will do!
We currently have room to welcome you and your horse into our barn family. 🐴

Our farm has two openings for boarding. Our horses prefer to stay outside but each horse has their own stall for inclement weather. All of our boarders are self care however, help with evening feeding can be arranged. Call or message me (Vicki) to schedule a visit.

I’m so late posting the pictures from summer camp. Just after camp one of our horses got sick and my life became immersed in her care. Summer Camp was AMAZING!! We had incredible campers, dedicated volunteers, and willing horses! Thank you everyone for making camp THE BEST!!!

We’ve been working so hard getting ready for camp. I thought a little fun was in order. Took the horses on a hike. We had so much fun! We just might make this part of camp!
