IT’S TRYOUT TIME!! We sure hope you were able to make it out to our interest meeting that was held yesterday but if you didn’t get a chance to stop by that’s okay, here’s your reminder to come tryout if your interested in joining the team!! Happy Fall Semester everyone! We hope you’re first week of classes went amazing!

We would like to extend an invitation to all and any Warhawks interested in joining the ULM Powerlifting team!! We will have our annual interest meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, August 29 in The Nest located in the Activity Center @5:30PM!

This meeting is for anyone interested in powerlifting, who have questions, or want to learn more about our program. If you plan on attending the interest meeting please scan the QR code and fill out the form! We would love to see you tomorrow🦅🏋🏻

As we are coming to the end of Spring semester, we would like to reflect on one of the major accomplishments our team has had this semester! We had three lifters representing ULM at the 2023 Collegiate Nationals!! Congratulations .boney.__ .bigelow !! Can’t wait to see what else y’all accomplish! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

The final lifter headed to Nationals to represent our team is Cassie Bigelow!!Cassie is sophomore accounting major and currently serves as our team’s president.

When asked what her favorite part of prepping for Nationals is, this is what she had to say, “My favorite part of preparing for nationals is training with other powerlifters and seeing my progress.”

We are extremely pumped to see what all three of our girls do at Nationals! Lift Big and leave it all at the rack ladies! Good Luck!💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

The next lifter that qualified for collegiate nationals is Chloe Boney! Chloe is a sophomore pre-dental hygiene major here at ULM.

When asked how she feels about competing at nationals she said, “I feel nervous to compete at such a big meet but I am very proud of myself and all others that qualified for this amazing opportunity.”

We can’t wait to see Chloe kill it under the bar!! 💪🏼🏋🏻🌟

Introducing Cassie Mixon, one of the three lifters headed to Nationals next week!! Cassie is a freshman kinesiology pre-physical therapy major who will be competing in the 100KG weight class.

When asked how she has been preparing for Nationals this is what she said, “I go to the gym 3-4 times a week to prep for nationals.”

Wishing Cassie the best of luck at Nationals can’t wait to see what she accomplishes!! 💪🏼🤩

WE’RE HEADED TO NATIONALS!!! We are so proud and excited to send three of our lifters to this years Collegiate Nationals! They will be lifting in Arlington, TX April 13-16.

This powerlifting club is an organization that is working to build community and strive for greatness.
