DINE TO DONATE — TODAY AT LARSONS BAR!

Tonight marks the 9th Dine to Donate event scheduled through Monroe First Downers, and we’re proud to close out this series by giving back to a family in our community.

Tonight, all proceeds from our Dine to Donate will be donated to the Grant Family. Let’s come together, enjoy a great meal, and show our support for a family who could use a little extra love right now.

📍 Larson's Bar
713 Stone St, Monroe, MI 48161

📅 Today, October 19th

Be sure to check out and share the attached flyer, then stop by Larsons Bar today! Every bit of support makes a difference, and we’re grateful for everyone who has supported Monroe First Downers and our Dine to Donate events along the way.

We will hold our traditional 50/50 raffles at our next three concerts; half will go to the lucky winner, the other half will be donated to the family of Trenton Grant.

If you are unable to make it to any of our concerts, the Monroe Football Mothers Club is doing the same at the varsity football game on Friday, October 23.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Trenton's family and friends. Some words from Trenton's orchestra instructor, Ms. Charrette:

He was such a good kid. Trenton wanted to be a composer and sent audio clips and sheet music to me for feedback. He took orchestra and piano classes. He was a skilled violin player and his sound will be missed. He performed the solo for last year's Orchestra Festival performance. He had so much music in him that will never be heard. He was knowledgeable about music theory, and also kind and knew how to make the room laugh.

Such a bright light taken from this world way too soon!

We are deeply saddened to share another tragic loss of a member of our Monroe Public Schools family. Trenton Grant, a Monroe High School sophomore, passed early this morning (Saturday, October 17, 2026). Please keep Trenton’s family and friends, and all who knew and loved him, in your thoughts and prayers.
