Charlotte Aeromodelers Club

We were founded in 1972 and are sanctioned by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), a national organization that promotes sport aviation.

The Charlotte Aeromodelers, an AMA recognized Gold Leader Club, is a group of individuals who build, fly and enjoy all types of radio controlled aircraft from electric, to gliders, to giant scale. We have several flight instructors that can help you with everything from building your first model, to breaking-in a new engine, to getting you to your first solo flight.

Short video of Mike flying his F16 at the field today. Had some great weather, and hanging out under the shelter in the shade with the breeze was so nice. I can't say enough great things about that thing, so glad the club had the vision to go big at the new site.
