Charlotte Aeromodelers Club

Charlotte Aeromodelers Club We were founded in 1972 and are sanctioned by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), a national organization that promotes sport aviation.

The Charlotte Aeromodelers, an AMA recognized Gold Leader Club, is a group of individuals who build, fly and enjoy all types of radio controlled aircraft from electric, to gliders, to giant scale. We have several flight instructors that can help you with everything from building your first model, to breaking-in a new engine, to getting you to your first solo flight.

Videos and pictures from our first annual Jets Over the Carolinas event this past weekend. It was a lot of fun with tons of cool jets and awesome pilots. Looking forward to next year's event. We learned a lot about hosting an event like this. Our facility will have even more upgrades for the next one. Come join us.

Once registration closes, any remaining spots will be first-come-first serve at event check in.
