Intrepid did a flyover of the beach recently.

This is going on this week between Otter Creek and Luna Pier.

Per DTE the water temp at discharge is 98.5 and plenty of sunshine to enjoy the beach!

A Monroe County man bowfishing in a creek last month brought in a massive catfish, so big, it broke the previous record by more than 10 pounds.

Let it be known that the HHYC is well aware of the “Bigfoot” that lives in the vicinity and fully endorses its wellbeing. Years ago he was made an honorary member and can sometimes be heard jumping off the trestle bridge in the middle of a hot summer night.

Hot Hole 1/26/25. Canal temp from DTE was 67* last Thursday. You can see ice less areas near doglady island and extending out into the lake.
