🏁 SPEC RANGER TRUCKS — 2027 RULEBOOK UPDATE 🏁
The 2027 construction rulebook is complete! We’re getting it out now so teams can start building and preparing their Rangers for next season.
Key updates for 2027:
• Eligible model years: 1993–2011 Ford Rangers, covering second- and third-generation trucks. NO first generation trucks.
• Spec Ranger proprietary fiberglass fenders and bedsides will be allowed.
• Radiators may be relocated behind the cab. This is optional, not required.
• Axle reinforcement will be permitted to help improve durability.
• Additional minor rule adjustments, with the possibility of a proprietary race tire manufacturer coming on board. More details as those discussions move forward.

Have you been wanting to get into a Spec Ranger Truck? Well here’s your chance!

Vick Brothers Racing is offering one of their Rangers up for those looking to join the SRT family! VBR wants to see some more fresh faces involved in the series in 2027 so they are wanting to sell the 17 in order to fund a fresh build for next season!

This was one of the first Rangers built and has been built fully to the rules of the series. The truck is a 2005 2.3l twin cam, 5 speed. It has a full 12 point 1.75” roll cage, and has the spec front and rear bumpers. The truck has a 12 gallon fuel cell, and will come with all of its safety gear including the sparco seat. The truck currently has Fox 2.5 shocks in the rear and icon in the front.

Serious inquiries only! Only stipulation with the truck is the buyer must continue to campaign it within the Spec Ranger Truck series!

What a first full season for Spec Ranger Trucks! 🏁
16 race/show appearances and an estimated 50,000+ fans seeing Spec Rangers live and in person across the Pacific Northwest.
A huge THANK YOU to our teams and drivers who put in the work, our sponsors and partners who believed in what we're building, and especially the fans who packed the stands and cheered us on all season long.
We set out to build affordable, grassroots short course truck racing with big jumps, close battles, and a show people would remember — and you guys made it happen.
