🚨 SAFETY REMINDER FOR ALL TCR COMPETITORS 🚨
We need to remind everyone of the safety requirements at Twin City Raceway. Drivers are responsible for having the proper safety gear required for the speed/ET of their vehicle.
👕 ALL DRIVERS – ALL CLASSES
All drivers are REQUIRED to wear:
• Long pants
• Closed-toe shoes
• A shirt with sleeves
We have seen this become an issue, particularly in the Street class. Any driver attempting to race in shorts, sandals, or other improper attire will be subject to an automatic DQ, regardless of where we are in the racing program.
🔥 FIRE SUIT REQUIREMENTS
• Jacket required: Entries running 7.49 or quicker in the 1/8 mile or 11.50 or quicker in the 1/4 mile.
• Jacket AND pants required: ANY open-bodied entry, including dragsters, altereds, and roadsters.
• Jacket AND pants required: Door cars running 6.49 or quicker in the 1/8 mile.
⚠️ ENFORCEMENT
Track staff will be walking through the staging lanes and water box areas during upcoming events to check and enforce these safety requirements.
Failure to follow the required safety rules may result in disqualification from the event.
Safety isn’t optional, folks. These rules are in place to protect our racers, our staff, and everyone at the track.
It is each driver’s responsibility to know and follow all Twin City Raceway rules. Race Director decisions are final.
