What does Rusty do when he isn’t diving beautiful California waters? Apparently, he lets Sam direct a Colorado road trip. 🐾🚗

Rusty, Niki, and Sam headed out Friday and are now exploring Colorado. Niki even found a break between flying, planning trips, digging in the dirt, and her approximately 50 other jobs.

They brought along Passenger Seat, and they’re loving it so much they asked us to spread the word.

Here’s the idea: you drive past a little town, an old building, or an unusual landmark and wonder what it is. The driver can’t look it up, and nobody wants to spend the whole trip searching on a phone.

Passenger Seat is an iPhone and Android app that finds interesting places along your drive and narrates their stories out loud. History, landmarks, and the things that make you say, “Wait, really?”

Open the app and turn on Live monitoring before you set off. It brings the stories along for the ride.

On Sunday alone, Niki and Rusty had nine discoveries along their drive. Niki sent us the screenshot in this graphic as the app told a story about a place still four miles ahead.

Your next dive may be the destination. The drive there can be part of the adventure, too.

One thing came through loud and clear during our webinar: SXT adventures do not always need tanks.

The live poll showed real excitement for hiking, food, culture, wildlife, and land-based travel alongside the dive trips you already know us for. Tour du Mont Blanc, Italy, Australia, East Africa, Peru, and more are all part of the conversation.
