A Personal Noise Exposure Assessment conducted by Aero-Environmental Consulting at the Pacific Continental Truss facility in King City, California. The assessment, performed on February 24, 2026, evaluated noise levels for workers in the timber mill and saw areas.Key FindingsThe assessment monitored four employees—Sebastian Amador, Salvador Zuniga, Raul Perez, and David Gutierrez—using personal noise dosimeters throughout their work shifts.Action Level Exceeded: All four monitored employees exceeded the Cal/OSHA Action Level (Hearing Conservation Level) of an 8-hour Time-Weighted Average (TWA) of 85 dBA.Peak Noise Levels: Projected 8-hour TWAs ranged from 85.7 dBA to 90.0 dBA. Maximum recorded sound levels reached as high as 120.6 dBA during saw operations.Area Observations: General noise levels in the timber mill and speed cut saw areas fluctuated between 78 and 94 dBA, while the floor press and finish roller areas were quieter, ranging from 60 to 70 dBA.RecommendationsBased on these findings, the report provides several critical recommendations for management and employees:Hearing Conservation Program (HCP): Pacific Continental Truss must develop a written HCP and enroll all employees working in saw cutting operations. This includes conducting annual audiometric (hearing) testing for these employees.Hearing Protection: The use of earplugs or earmuffs must be required during equipment and saw operations. Employees should also be trained on the proper fit and maintenance of these devices.Administrative & Engineering Controls: Management should evaluate the use of sound barriers (such as baffles or absorbers) and consider rotating employees to reduce individual noise exposure.Signage: High-noise equipment and regulated work areas should be clearly labeled with hearing protection signage.Employee Notification: All monitored employees must be notified of their results, and these records must be maintained for at least 30 years.

We conducted industrial hygiene monitoring for arsenic during soil excavation involving personal air sampling to measure airborne inorganic arsenic, ensuring levels remain below the Cal/OSHA PEL of 0.01 mg/m3 (8-hour TWA).

Key tasks included using real-time dust monitoring, HAZWOPER compliance, implementing wetting techniques to control dust, proper decontamination, and enforcing respiratory protection.
